the shop: ali's bbq (ada 'gila makan' punya cert seh... fuyoh!)
apa ini?: sotong something something... i just eat...
verdict: can lah... the sotong a bit small though... the sambal is... well... i've had better...





















the shop: not important... but they were blasting boat quay inspired music... yucko...
apa ini?: satay lah... buta ke?
verdict: it was good lah... surprisingly, the meat was kind of in between medium rare and well done... which is kind of the way i like it...

verdict: the bbq chix were bad... chix didn't taste fresh... the tandooris was according to sister, better... but i didn't eat them...

verdict: no no... i still want my newton... quite bad lah this one... there goes my cholesterol levels... but not worth it sia... it wasn't nice... small and gooey... i swore i was going to get food poisoning or something but nothing so far... sambal? what sambal? oh... you mean that watery thing at the base? really? urgh... forgetable... very...

verdict: nice big, succulent prawns... quite fresh too... quite good... sambal looks hot... but it isn't... so all those people who want to pretend that they can take hot stuff... this is for you...

anyways... overall... i think it was ok lah...had some good stuff... had some not-so-good stuff... place is quite small and the location is kind of weird if you have no idea where it is on the first place... seats are quite limited and the cleaners there take some time to clean up the tables... but it was cleaned well lah... then again... it was probably later and the cleaners were tired... no worries... and if you are coming in a cab from bedok south... please don't stop at the bend... firstly it's dangerous (especially at night) and secondly... it's a one lane road with a divider in the middle... so when you stop, no one can pass you... hence a pile up will most likely occur... and honk some people will... ish... overall... i will give the place a 6/10... there were probably better food around but i wasn't too inclined to like the place and try new things... although they did a nice job renovating it... a bit closed in... but passable... ah hell... i still want my newton... i miss the lala there... damn cholesterol... bummer...
