the rage over fish...

KNNBCCB... i tell you this... i was so bloody pissed off yesterday (wednesday)...
why? because of the knnbccb LONG JOHN SILVER'S PAYA LEBAR SINGAPORE POST CENTRE outlet lah... nabeh... what's wrong with that place? here's what is wrong...
ok... here i was... craving for long john... so i called my sister and met her there... so yah... we got there at 930pm... when i stepped in the place, i uttered to myself, "ok... i am back... don't piss me off..." i said that because of an earlier incident which resulted me in staying off the long john then of which i will elaborate later... so... proceeded to order combo 2... sister didn't get anything... so yah... ordered... and as always with this outlet... don't know why though... had to wait for the food to be ready... so i thought it was normal lah... i mean... i can spare 5 minutes can't i? not that they said that i had to wait 5 minutes... the guy at the counter just told me to wait and he will send out the food to me... so i waited... and waited... waited... and waited some more... wait and wait... and wait and wait... and guess what? it got to the point that i waited for a whole fucking lot more lah... guess how much more i waited? TWENTY FIVE FUCKING MINUTES!!! WHAT THE FUCK! and it is supposed to be fast food... fast food mak dia punya laki lah... basket... and i wasn't the only one... got two other customers who had to wait for what seemed like eternity to get their food... so much so that when one of them got her food... she questioned as to why the service is so damn slow... but the goondu staff didn't say anything... just kept quiet... and to make thigns worse... the goondu forgot to bring out the drinks, serviettes and condiments... ok... so the condiments are complimentary... but heck... at least have the decency to appease a long-waiting customer... but no... the goondu just quietly went about her duties... not that she was the one to blame actually... i blame it on the stupid manager... this woman... whom while three customers were waiting for their food... she was busy counting the damn money from a closed register... i felt like going up there to tell her that if she kept that up, soon she'll have no money to count... ass... but me being the nice person that i am (some would beg to differ but fuck them...), i did not... it's not a matter of being hum chi or anything... i just do not want to make a scene... so when questioned by my sister... this manager asked the kitchen how much longer it would take... twenty seven seconds they said... twenty seven seconds my balls lah... knn... i mean... if it's going to be slow, might as well be honest about it... no need to bull shit... basket... so when this stupid manager finally decided to come out to explain or apologise, which she didn't have the decency to do so, she said that yes... maybe they should have told us that we would have to wait as it near closing time.... WHAT THE FUCK?! I DON'T GIVE A FLYING FUCK IF YOU ARE GOING TO CLOSE... i mean... i know it's near closing time... but it is not closing time isn't it? and up till the stipulated closing time, i'd expect a reasonable level of service... i mean... i don't think i am such a difficult customer... i know how hard it is it can be at times to please the public... and i can apathise (i do have apathy after all...) with those in the customer service line... but this... this is just horrible... abysmal!
so... after waiting for so long for something quite simple, my food was finally ready... but i could see that from how the staff just dumped the stuff in the plastic bag that she was pissed... but hey... who should be pissed here? asshole... urgh... so yah... one of them came out and handed us the food... no fanfare here... but i tell you this... i am so staying off that particular long john outlet... the thing is... i like long john and i would hate to not like any outlet... but this one gets the thumbs down... all the way down... i mean... the bugis one likes to burn their food... but at least they are much faster... and it's not everytime that they burn their food... this one however... is slow on an alarming frequency... and not that only... here is another incident where the stupidity of the same manager at the same outlet managed to get on my nerves...
to keep it short... luch time... many people... two lines... got into line where manager was attending to the counter... then... without no warning or indication of any sorts, she closed the counter... so... here i am... waiting like a moron at the head of the line because it was supposed to be my turn... and she just walks off into her office to do something else more important... what the flying fuck!? so after enquring as to what the hell happened... she said that the line was closed and she asked me not to mind but join the other queue which by now even longer than before... what the hell!!! as such... i left the place altogether... knn... telling myself to stay off that place... one month later... i came back and i got the crap mentioned above... babi habis...
i can be very forgiving to people in the customer service line... in fact... at the very same long john, i was reasonably forgiving to one of the staff as it was her first day on the job and she was having some difficulty taking orders... i told her to take her time and that i don't mind her being abit slow as long as she got the order right... not that i expect them to remember my kindness... i don't even expect them to remember me even though i am a regular customer there... but hey... even if i have never been as kind before or i am not a regular customer, i don't think i deserve that kind of service... urgh... irritating...
so yah... for an indefinite period of time... i am staying off that particular long john silver's... not that i encourage you do so... but for your own piece of mind... you know what to do... i am thinking of complaining to the management and get the manager at the outlet relieved of her duties... but i don't think i will actually get down to doing so... although... well... you'd never know... you'd never know...
